You look at your phone
Its on 8 percent
You start to panic
So you plug it in to charge
You let it fill it with juice before picking it up and mindlessly scrolling through LinkedIn again.
You DO NOT have endless charge.
Recovery allows your body to repair, rebuild, and grow stronger.
With proper rest you can effectively recover from the stresses of life, lowering your risk of injury, burnout and disease.
Recovery is essential
It can take on many different forms
You could read, go for a walk, take a nap, play a musical instrument or meditate .
Whatever your preferred method is, nothing comes close to shabbos.
Could you think of a better way to recharge than spending time with the family, catching up on sleep and eating healthy and nutritious food?
I definitely can't!
